Have double sink ,dishwasher 2 cabinets,white granite.have not put a finish on back n sides,plus 2 posts

Why don't you post some pictures or tell your problem in detail? It can get you the right help. From what you just posted now, no one can figure out what you actually asked for.

Need suggestions for finishing 3 sides of island,& 2 support posts

but some beadboard, or regular square edging trim , and paint it white.

these are all of the pieces. prime and paint

trim out the bottoms of the supports posts like this. Put a nice finish coat on the wood and leave natural if they look good. if not, prime and paint

or do some reclaimed wood.
