I like the the Eva lamps Porter posted above.

Glass on glass can tend to disappear. Maybe a lamp like our Crosby Wooden lamp that pulls the ivory from your trim and some of the wood tone up from the base would work. I would avoid anything too tall. Crosby Wooden Table Lamp. This still has the natural feel to go with your room and a coastal vibe. The proportions look like they could work well.

Maybe if we see even more of your room we could offer better suggestions? Have you tried similar things to what people have posted, or is there something new in the mix that you think could work?

What about a floor lamp and putting a couple of large books on the table related to the beach or sea?

Great suggestions. While I love the Eva lamps, what I don't like is the cord coming from the top of the switch. Visually/aesthetically, it is unattractive. That is the problem I have run into with many of the glass lamps.

I think the rope type lamps are too similar to the driftwood base. Almost too matchy-matchy.

The comment about glass on glass disappearing made me think, "Why don't you want it to disappear?" Wouldn't anything else detract from that driftwood base?

And does it have to be a table lamp? Could it be a floor lamp instead?

I like the texture and lighter of the rattan lamp. Creates a nice balance of the lighter toned furniture you have on the other side of the room and in the base of the coffee table. I think that's a winner!

I tried to find it on line and can't. I'm sorry it was on Lamps Plus in October now nothing. Overstock has a Hyacinth base as well, not sure it's tall enough.

Didnt think i would go with a clear glass (actually, it is more of a smokey shade), but i think it is a keeper, though i am keeping options open. Really like that rattan lamp you posted. Thank you so much for your input. Feel free to send other lamps you think might work.

I will try to find another.... the reason I personally like the glass lamp is it is still a sea side theme, but is light in appearance in that the base of the table is wood and more heavy and the lamp is sea side, but also pretty vs. full on sea side. It's very similar to my first post way up in the beginning!

I did a reverse image search of the lamp cropped off the table. See another had posted it after doing so. I myself do like the glass you have.

A tiny bit less on HOUZZ and free ship. Check the height so you know it's tall enough if you go that route.

Something about the glass one as I said makes it look less heavy more of an, "airy" feel for lack of a better word. Yet, they are both very nice.
