My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Alternative to West Elm Media Center

Wondering if anyone has come across something similar. I've searched high and low and can't seem to find anything that resonates with me. I really don't like the West Elm price ($1199), given there's 3 year old in the house and twin girls being hatched in two months. So....don't want to spend a ton of money for this (i.e. want something cheap for the time being), as our budget is going to other decorating updates:

    twins!! congrats. I suggest looking at 'new to you' used furniture shops, a place that specializes in mid-century would be a good start. look for function, shape, style- the finish color can be changed as easy as buying cans of spray paint, or a roller & a gallon of paint. enjoy the hunt and free your imagination. my prized possession is a bamboo side board, picked off the curb for the low low price of ticking off people who had to drive around my car.
