Design Dilemma Polls Kitchens

Glass tile backsplash

We just bought a beautiful home with forest green glass tile backsplash in the kitchen. Not exactly my color choice, but not worth replacing at this point. Any suggestions on wall color? The cabinets are light alder and the counters are pretty standard granite with dark brown veining. The current wall color is bright yellow (ick).

Photos help, but there's probably some nice cream out there that is enough lighter than your cabinets to give contrast, while harmonizing with all the other finishes. Will take bringing home some swatches.
