    i thought hardwood in a bathroom was a no no

    I suppose it depends on how you use it. The swedish finish is very durable and waterproof. I have hardwoods in all my bathrooms including the kids bath/powder room and it just takes some management. I prefer it because it is warm both in temperature and aesthetic.
