Is this tile on the floors onyx? And if so is this a efficient tile to use in bathroom or does it get slippery. Thank you. Great space.

Yes this tile is onyx to match the counter surface. It is a beautiful application, in this case, for a bath that is not used heavily. I presume that the floor will get somewhat slippery when wet. Rugs would be reccomended but are not in the photograph for obvious reasons.

Agree with CBI Design. Onyx is no more slippery than any smooth-finish stone floor. One way to make it less slippery would be to use smaller format onyx -- like a 1"x2" mosaic. The grout lines will increase traction.

thank you for this and I think I love this tile so much it is well worth the normal situation of slippery when wet and putting down normal bath rugs. Thank you for both answers and happy designing!

Is the counter onyx? I am looking for green onyx to replace faux marble installed in my bathrooms almost thirty years ago.
