SW Worldly Gray

I have dark walnut floors throughout my home and have SW Worldly in every room....I love the soft gray neutral color it goes with everything! All SW Shoji White trim...

Thanks for your suggestion. However, the grey that I have in mind is more like this:

Maybe SW Dorian Grey. We have it in our kitchen and lovd it.

My island is Dorian Gray...love it but it has a very slight green undertone..

I've bought a few different paint samples but they've all been too light or too dark.

Which colors have you tried? Which one is closest to what you want and how do you wish it were different?

Do you have rugs, upholstered pieces or anything in the space that the wall color needs to coordinate with?

SW Gray Shingle. We used it in a few rooms in our house and wish we'd have done it through our entire first floor. It's gorgeous. Our painter even loved it so much that he asked if he could bring his wife by to look at it for their own home.

If you want a blue undertone gray try SW Lazy Gray, it's quite a chameleon color and in different lighting looks gray or a slight blue tone. We did our whole house in it and I love the results. It's not too dark but definitely not a super light gray either.

SW light French gray or French gray, which is a stand-alone color unlike other grays with various undertones.

Find a piece of fabric or a towel or anything in the color you would like, take it to your paint store, and ask them to match it. And, what color is your furniture? If you have something in a shade of gray, take a cushion to the paint store and use it to choose the correct undertone in grays. The gray walls you like in the picture you posted looks like it has blue, cool undertones.

The SW worldly you have in all your rooms with the Shoji on the trim etc...what color is the ceiling? And would painting the doors with Shoji look good? I really like the BM storm as well. I want to paint the trim, baseboards, doors and kitchen cabinets white and i'm stuck as well. We are remodeling to have an open concept. Sorry just gabbing away here haha

I did light french gray with white doors, ceiling, and trim. It’s simple and works with the wood cabinets in kitchen and bath as well as the granite we just had put in at the end of September. The backsplash was just finished when I took this so it’s a bit messy still.

The kitchen and dining rooms face north so the natural light coming in will tend to make gray paint look cooler toned. The backsplash is the same tile from our fireplace surround to tie the spaces and materials together, now I just need to find a dining table and chairs. :)

We moved in at the beginning of August and just now getting to the point of everything being done. It could be worse I’m sure and therefore I am glad to be at where we are now with the big stuff done.

We ended up using a much darker grey (closer to peppercorn) and love it!

Hubs insisted it would be too dark with our ebony wood floors, so we went with a lighter grey in the main living/dining area and darker in the bathroom.

Once he saw, he insisted that we do everything in the darker grey, so we repainted.

We did accent walls though, not the entire room.

I was looking for more of a silvery grey as opposed to green or blue undertones.

This was a gut reno, once we updated the electrical with white LED, the color changed once again.
