I am remodeling my kitchen and have selected the white neolith counters. I selected it because of it's matte surface. I have also selected my backsplash and I am doing the Ann Sacks chevron tiles in white also. However, I cannot decide if I should do the tiles in matte to go with the counter or deliberately go with the gloss to have a contrast.

My cabinets will be white also, stainless appliances and my only accent will be some reclaimed wood as a shelf and a couple of cabinet faces. I'm also doing a distressed recessed brass pulls. Any input would be helpful.
