move a lamp a tad from the edge of the table

lean your favorite art (like one of the batterflies, in terms of the size..can be higher too) behind the lamp.

it's ok if things overlap a bit. not everything has to go on the wall either

of course if it's something very beloved and you want see it all-then no. but if you're ok with it being part of a composition-that what I'd do here
