The clusters under the leaves look like eggs as well. Did you try to wipe them away?

They seem to be clear eggs showing development of whatever inside. They are nearby the green things with legs. I’ll see what I can wipe away.

Both the bugs (green) and eggs or maybe juveniles (clear) have been wiped off into the forest. They really stick to anything (plant, alcohol swab, my finger)!

Ugh... why do I dread that?

Side note: do any of you trim roots? I really don’t want to find a different/bigger pot for this plant (actually a mother & pup) but I see some roots peeking out the hole.

No trimming! Bigger pot makes fuller plants. Better soil, as Ebbb will help as well

I use clay balls & tezontle as a medium. It is not getting a bigger pot.

The roots looked fine. I untangled & will put back into a different but same-size pot (because that’s what I have & this is not my favourite plant).

I see some nubs where future babies might grow. If more pups come, I’ll give in & get bigger pots (and hopefully give away the mother, which I’ve beaten up a bit & don’t like).

*the previous medium was an attempt at gritty mix that didn’t go well. Small stones, reptibark, and tezontle. I don’t think I need the bark at all here. It stays pretty humid.

Can you buy Bayer insecticide? Any good systemic. I would even use Listerine Original mouthwash. It contains Thymol and Benzoic Acid along with Alcohol. In a spray bottle and make sure to blow dry to prevent rotting.

Trimming the long roots shouldn't hurt the plants. Watch open cuts. They start the rot. Let any cuts dry out and harden for a day at least.

I have imidacloprid granules (which are not convenient for gritty mixes) and I just got biothrine flow (Deltamethrin). Biothrine is made by Bayer. I think, before I do anything that serious, I’ll try the listerine first. I know I’ve seen flavours (blue, purple), so I should be able to get original (maybe at Costco). If not, I’ll have someone bring me some in a suitcase.

I have used the cheap dollar store brand and they had the same ingredients.
