Windows are black framed?

yes, black framed. I considered black, but someone also considered burgundy. Didn't know whether to stay safe with black or go a color.

I'd match the window frames adjacent.... didn't hear if they are black or not???

I'd do a darkest gray/graphite/black if they are in fact black??????????

IMO, it's not safe per se to go with burgundy... you have wood tones, light to mid tone gray stone, green and dark framed windows. Depends on the look you like. Dark would look very rich to me personally. Yet, if you want to add another color in to the scheme Burgundy and green do work together.

The painter suggested it since he had recently done that same color scheme on another house. I personally was considering black. Thanks.

Just depends on the look you are going for. The photo is a tight shot of the house. So, either way... both would look nice. A more eclectic look with a colored door or a door that is very, very dark gray or black is my vote.
