We just installed a frameless shower and at first the shower door opened in and out very easily and rested perfectly in line with the fixed shower door when closed. The moveable door started to not close all the way but instead closed so that it was slightly out of line and was on the outside of the permanent glass door. It was then an effort to open the door inwardly. I used WD 40 on the strip and now it functions perfectly. Will the WD4o ultimately harm the seal strip? Is there something to use that is better?
