Welcome back!

I honestly don't even try to navigate the Houzz set up. I have bookmarked on my computer the page for the gardenweb forums, and I navigate from there.

I am never sure about posting on this forum since my garden tends to be a mix of shrubs, vines, and perennials with a stand-alone veggie garden, and it is much larger than a standard cottage in size (it's an old farm) but I started visiting here on the recommendations of a couple of Garden Web friends who have seen my gardens. I rarely make new posts, but I do comment when others post. I enjoy seeing the range considered to be cottage gardens.

So many were turned off by the new format and are MIA. Kinda sad - we were quite a bunch. I forget to come on here too much, tbh. Good to see you here though. I should post pics of my new endeavours!!

I look in here once in awhile, but haven't seen any of the old bunch which is kind of sad. Midnightsmum just gave me a shoutout so here I am. My garden has had to change due to health issues so no more planting every new plant that takes my fancy, but, I'm still plugging along. I still have quite a few perennials and have been putting in more shrubs to cut down on maintenance. My main interest the last few years has been heirloom vegetables, especially beans. I grew a pole bean this year that took me over 4 years to find the seed but finally found someone in the UK still growing it and willing to share a few seeds.

So good to see some of you guys back on the forum, I'll have to pop in more often to say hi if nothing else:).

It is sad that we have lost so many old members. I am not posting much, due to a new job that took me to St Paul, MN. I now live in an apartment downtown with no place to grow anything. I did rent space in a community garden to grow for the pollinators and put in a strawberry patch. But, I can't get there every day like I could with my own garden. So happy to hear from you all.
