Can you show us a photo of what you mean that you are having trouble getting them to fit?

I’ve made that quilt but admit I didn’t use her templates. There are directions for making that star all over the internet. It’s simply a six inch six pointed star surrounded by another set of flying geese. Good luck.

From a picture I found, Shakespeare in the Park is made up of two blocks. One is Rising Star (a star in a star) and the other is Snail Trail. Does the pattern have you making them as blocks? If so, which block is giving you problems? Just trying to narrow down the problem area.
