Update: I like the throw but the pillow didn’t work.

What pillow is that? To small and looks kinda old granny;/:))))) throw looks really good...I will check in tomorrow.

I remembered that I had this in the garage. Worked perfectly to bring the gold into the bathroom. My vanities are being painted tomorrow. Yay!

Flo, yes it’s much smaller than how it looked in the link you posted. It says 12x14 but it’s smaller than that. I can’t get over the reactions from people when they see the room. It’s so much fun!

That’s half the fun isn’t it. I hate when photos are so misleading. Well, at least pillows are easy to return. I just had to return a chandelier because the color shown was completely different in person. Houzz does make it pretty easy though. Can’t wait to see bathroom with “new vanity” look!!

Haha. I have huge bags of pillows in my garage. I’m always changing them out. I’m a pillow and linen addict :)

The room looks great. I would say add some natural wood accents such as frames or just decorations you could find. Copper or gold are my favorite lately so you can definitely get a light fixture with some gold or copper! I think it would look great with a different blanket with a pop of color to it.

I like to do two 18” or 20” pillows.........or one 20” square.....or one oversized lumbar....lumbar 16”x20” minimum.

It just won’t be a paper bright white but I think the off white layered with the bedding and faux fur will look very pretty...you might be able to get a sample...most on Etsy.co will have them....

I contacted the seller of the square one with the gold stripes and she said it has a yellow tinge so she’s making one for me in pure white. Gotta love Etsy!

Haha! I get that. We had (sadly they have passed) two kitties and their favorite thing was to cozy up in the pillows on the Master Bed!! My one son's long hair dachshund dog LOVES pillows too! He is so cute and when he wags his tail, everyone has to laugh and smile! He loves that too!

Hey thanks Flo was so nervous when I ordered it! To a shot in the dark without seeing it in person....the quality is amazing...fabrics are very soft no sheen just love it!

Flo I really like lumbar pillows too but mixed with some square..but when all the pillows on the bed are the bed pillows king and king shams I like to add a square accent pillow...both are great for sure...

I just got my boss playoff tickets to the hockey game and since he was in such a good mood I thought that would be a good time to ask him to buy me a new desk and he said to go pick one out :).

Here’s my home office. You can’t see but on the inside of the desk it’s all scratched up and also it’s BROWN.

This is the one I’m looking at it’s from a good local furniture store. It also has a small writing desk I can use for the monitors

She is a Bernadoodle...Bernese mountain dog and black standard poodle...not really any shedding..few soft fur balls after she is groomed roll around the house:)))

Ha! The monitors are attached to a laptop but I can’t see that stupid little monitor:). Also I use a bunch of different programs, usually at the same time so they’re kind of a necessity in my job. Yep, I work from home which gives me time to do this kind of thing:)

Doodles are the best! My niece has a labradoodle and she’s the sweetest dog I’ve ever seen

Julie, it has such a great transitional look to it. The wood is kind of a grayish brown. I’m so glad I found it. Had to keep looking because my daughter was with me and told me the white one reminded her of a little girls room so that kind of ruined it for me :)))

That is awesome. Just measure to make sure the top surface isn’t too high for you to comfortably work but I love the look. Go for it!

Flo, I measured my current one before I went and this desk is about the same size as the current one. Also bought that large file cabinet behind it to put all of my many monitors on :). Need to get rid of the old one before I can have it delivered though so probably late next week

You have a very pretty room (and cute dog!). With the pretty taupe colors on your bed, I envision adding a nice powdery blue on the walls and accents.

It’s so nice to hear from you Julie! Everything is great. I’ve taken the summer off from doing things but I’m gearing back up now. I have someone coming tomorrow to discuss the new tops for the bathroom vanities and I’m planning to finally paint the interior next month. Yes all us well on my end...but very busy...my son and his wife have moved from Oklahoma to Dallas and just bought a home but in between time are living with us! And my daughter got engaged so have been planning a wedding plus doing my design...:) so busy busy Bee!

That’s wonderful that your son will be closer. Wedding planning is so fun but yes, very busy. I did get a new sectional. Not the one in the pic above but the same color. You can see a corner of it in the new post along with some gorgeous metallic pillows I found on Etsy.
