It looks like a Hubbardton Forge Aura pendant -- am curious how much light it produces at ground level?

    The fixture produces nice ambient light but not enough to read by. Hope that helps!

    Yes that helps. Do you think hanging one over a kitchen table, which also has 2 LED, recessed cans in the nook, would work?

    It sounds like it would work well. I would refer to the manufacturer website to see the equivalent incandescent output. Good luck!
