I have an 8' island. Instead of pendants hanging down from the ceiling I am thinking about a flourescent puff light. The kitchen is dark so I want enough light to work since I cook nearly every meal from scratch. The puff lights come in 4' lengths, will that be enough to light up the whole island well? I know it's not as pretty as a pendant, but I am for functionality over aestetics. There are cans around the island walk way, and undercabinet tape lighting.
