Hello Stuart, nice to see you back again., it’s a bit quiet here on the forum at the moment isn’t it? We will all have to try to keep the interest going throughout the colder months....do you get a colder season at all....I guess not! It was 0.2C here last night!

Must say, I like your tower form in the first pic you’ve posted, how long has that one taken from planting, I assume it started the same way as the others...suspended on thin roots? I’m sure I recall your posts about the experiment some time ago. Are those later pics some more you’ve started?

The first plant is 2 years old. The temp here is at night 20+c and at day 35c, we never had colder temp here.

The plants in the last two pics are a few months old.

Yes you have find one with a long tap root en cut the upper feeder roots away. When it helps plant is thick enough then cut the caudex and do some root training.
