Paw Paw Tree Selection

I have 2 pa paw trees, a Shenandoah and a Susquehanna. They are about 7 years old and 6 feet high. This year I decided to hand pollinate and attempt to get my first fruit. The Susquehanna pollination did not take, but the Shenandoah put on 12 fruit. I have a real problem with squirrels and chipmunks so I only harvested 5 fruit. They were delicious; tasted like banana pudding! I saved the seed to plant; placing them in a sealed plastic bag with a damp paper towel in it and put them into the crisper on my refrigerator. Is this called Vernalization? In December I am going to plant them in 10 inch deep paper cups and place them in my basement to sprout. Since the Shenandoah that produced the fruit was pollinated with the Susquehanna pollen what paw paw varieties will it be compatible with - the Shenandoah? The Susquehanna? Or some other variety?
