hi there, I posted on the Succulent forum recently wondering what was wrong with these plants but was told I might find better help here the cheese plant is very droopy and turning crunchy and brown on the edges. I watered them a few days ago and the soil is slightly damp but I'm worried I may not have saturated the soil enough, and they seem to be in a water retaining potting soil.

I'm afraid to put them by the window because the window is freezing and the air around it feels very cold too. I plan on getting grow lights to help them out but I'm not sure exactly what I'm doing wrong.
