Google the following keywords “Consumer Reports best ranges 2016”. If all goes well, you will retrieve the article in the magazine (dated 12/31/2016). Otherwise you might have to visit your local library and find Consumer Reports magazine in the periodicals section. They evaluated over 120 ranges for the article.

Armchairshopper - I bet you that out of the 120 ranges CR evaluated, very few if any are the 36" size that the OP is asking about. I'd also bet that the few of CR's top-rated brands for ranges make a 36" size less than $5000.

To the OP - many people on this forum love the Bluestar ranges, which do come in a 36" size for less than $5000. They love them for their high-powered open burners, lack of electronics, and their simplicity which means less to break. Keep in mind you'll need a good exhaust setup for any 36" range, and make sure to budget for it.

I myself wouldn't want an oven that large. If I wanted 6 burners, I'd try to fit in a 36" rangetop and separate 30" wall oven. Plus proper exhaust hood.

Additionally, CR is looking for the best for the least money, not the best for your particular budget, and certainly not the best of the best just because it's best. CR picks are usually adequate. And cheap. Here in the Appliances Forum are people who cook and care about how an appliance works in general, not just in a particular set of tests which aren't always applicable.

Besides BlueStar, there's American Range, Five Star, DCS, some Italian brands, etc., in your price range. I don't know much about ranges in general, but if you search the forum you'll learn more about them All cooking equipment has quirks, so it's a matter of choosing the one that suits you best. You can find out more about the details at online retailers like AJMadison and Universal-akb.

BlueStar, btw, at least some of them, can come in any color on the standard list (over 200), though I don't know if that costs more.

I have a Bertazzoni 36” all gas range that I love. I have the onenwith the wok burner and the simmer burner but there are other options I have had it for 10 yrs not one issue and it gets used I have a small catering company.

Perhaps Bertazzoni isn't now what it was 10 years ago when you got yours. Unfortunately there have been quite a number of posts complaining about Bertazzoni ranges.

I’ve got a 30” Bluestar in a custom color. Orange. The open burners are just so great, and the simplicity of design admirable. The custom color added 1000 to the price.

If that includes your ventilation budget, then no. If you have another 5K for the hood and makeup air that will be required to go with the Pro style range, then get a Bluestar.

Don't get American Range. Their customer service makes the phone company look awesome in comparison.

It might be easier to lose the extra 6 inches in order to get a better selection of ranges. Also if you consider induction, you could go for a less powerful ventilation set up.
