I white that matches your sofa would be a nice color.

It's very hard with computer monitors.

Some we've used and I loved.

Simply White – clean and bright with the right amount of softness with barely visible warmth. It has a pinch of a yellow undertone but less prominent than others.

White Dove – It is warm, incredibly soft and it has absolutely no coldness to it!

Common question around the color involves the undertone which has a slight touch of gray that mutes the color nicely so the color reads just off white and not stark white yet maintains a little warmth. It doesn't go too creamy nor yellow.

White Heron - From the paint card you might think it's beige. The room below is Heron White.

Farrow and Ball - All White is a beautiful white if you have Farrow and Ball in your area to test.

Oxford White - Cool tone modern white and CAN/MAY lean a bit blue/green.

Chantilly Lace - Very crisp cooler white when I've seen it used.

Purchase poster board and paint the colors you lean toward and tape then to each wall and look at them from AM to PM. White can be tough leaning blue, green, pink...

Paint colors tend to appear more intense on the wall than on a tiny little rectangle of paper, so the strip chip does allow you to preview what a ­deeper value might look like. And if you’re nervous about a given color, going one step lighter can be a safer bet—you’ll probably get something in between once it’s up on the wall.
