You need actual good lighting not a chadeleir I like tracks in craft rooms so that you can adjust where the light shines for different projects and since youe ceiling is high I would look at one that can hang lower to really work properly.

Yes for your craft room you need something that gives off good lighting, go practical not fancy. Take from someone who in their own (basement) craft room goes insane because i only have two little drop ceiling lights right now and can never see well enough without bringing over a lamp. Not sure what kind of crafts you are into but I would also recommend flooring different then carpet, something easier to clean up possible accidents, such as spilled paint.

Or just trying to find a pin or needle before it is imbedded in your foot.

@PCC that happened to me. Broke off and had to be surgically removed. The danger is real.

I specified this fixture in a modern dining space-- It worked for the intended use, but my thoughts on the fixture were that it would make a perfect light for a craft space. The light is bright and well-diffused, but also pleasing and modern-- not shocking and utilitarian like many bright lights. It is also very energy efficient.

Thanks for posting this! I was looking for a light for my dining/crafting room and we got this one on Amazon! Installed it and everyone has been really impressed with it! High amount of light and looks very cool and modern.
