Entry Design Dilemma Home Decorating

Tree base to improve

I like the tree but we do not like the base of it . It is an artificial tree.
Can we color it , to what ?
Can we cover it up with a sack or tying something else will look better.
It is kept at the entrance of the house, within a few feet from the main door.

I like the color--it works well with the floor and pretty green walls, but maybe a wider planter that could support the tree if it were live?

Honestly this is a poor idea IMO faux trees belong in office buildings where no one knows how to water. Get a great piece of sculpture or even a chair and a small table and lamp.

It looks top heavy. You could buy a wider pot of the same height that you like better and put it in there.
