you're not hanging it way up there, are you?

it does look a bit immense. I agree that the space can handle a fair amount of lamp, but you don't need a chandelier that's half the long axis of your table! there are a zillion orb lights out there, so find one that hits the sweet spot around 24-28 inches.

I do like a larger light over a table vs a dwarfed light. I also love the RH orb. With very high ceilings and a larger light you can hang your light a bit higher that the normal 32 to 36" above the table top above the table. Naturally, not way high.

You say the width of your table is 62" do you mean the length? If so, what is the width?

Hang a chandelier approximately 30 to 34 inches over a table with an 8 foot ceiling height. If your ceiling is higher than 8 feet, mount the chandelier an additional 3 inches higher for each foot of ceiling.

I like these to be a bit on the larger size since they are very light looking it works but much lower.

Imo, with windows and higher slanted ceiling, how nice to have something 'striking' and very spare anyway.... it somehow gives visible [your larger size I mean] contrast to the triangular....
