Think it will look great if you are planning on leaving the kitchen island the same brown as the windows

I would paint the island and the glass cabinet upper only-a nice creamy tone or even better a sage green or deep blackish-green would be nice to bring some of that green from outside in.. Also some color on the sofa pillows. The counter stools could be a lighter fabric to bring the eye further back into the dining table area. Maybe a matching runner rug at oven with area rug behind stools to connect the rooms together. Ceiling lights could be updated at some point but I'd rather go for a flat MCM panel of zebra wood on the upper/lower cabinets toward the dining table to help ground the space.. Just sayin I would love this kitchen-as is-and love those ovens! The medallion could be eliminated if possible.
