Cool looking but IMO not practical in a kitchen maybe a bathroom though, I think keeping them clean would be a pain.

I think you need to look again, my dear. At yours and the photo, which may not show the back in the photography angle. And not to split hairs, certainly close ENOUGH. Or go back to the refubished home and ask the owner/sellers not a real estate agent who could not care less to answer you, unless you are making a PURCHASE OFFER.

Anniebird........that is exactly correct. The one on Houzz is flush. Thanks for the link on schoolhouse.com. That's a really cool knob too. I've done a lot of searching online and can't find the exact one, but I do appreciate all the efforts the Houzz community has put into helping me. I'll be posting pics of the new kitchen (hopefully with those knobs we like) as soon as it's complete.........shooting for Christmas.

I tried them out in the house where I found them and they were easy to use. The knurling made it easy to grab a hold of.

Lulu.......I was in a renovated house last week where they used brass knobs and pulls and I have to say, I wasn't a fan of the brass. I like the polished nickel though. Thanks for sending me the link.

I was able to track down the renovation company of the house where I saw the knobs. He contacted the interior designer and they said the knobs were discontinued........DANG. Last Saturday I was doing research on different knobs and most of the ones we really liked were a wee bit pricey. But on google page ten or so I saw some knobs on Pinterest that looked like the ones we liked. Turns out they were for an electric guitar. Further down the page........I hit pay dirt. The knobs we liked are at cb2........the Crate and Barrel offshoot. They have a store in Georgetown in DC. They are called "Amp Knobs" and they are a cb2 exclusive. They also have a matching pull handle too. I bought several of each to show my wife and she loved them. Went online and ordered the rest at 15% off. Thanks for everyone for giving me a helping hand. The Houzz community is great and we really appreciate your efforts.

65windsor- did you have trouble with the cb2 knobs? i saw that they come with the bolt preattached and "bolt might need to be trimmed to size".

Just getting my cabinets installed. Once they are, I already have a plan to cut the back of the bolt off. Should be no problem. Thanks for asking.
