Thank you, my3dogs. That as the initial article that started to give me pause about my decision. LOL!

I used cut and loop as a large area rug about 15 years ago. I didn't notice any unusual wear patterns . I was happy with it and I liked how it added subtle texture. I will say that the carpet was Laura Ashley branded and I paired it with a cabbage rose sofa. So, it definitely had a certain style.

When updating our master bedroom, I️ decided to purchase carpet like that. I️ didn’t want it in any main living rooms as I️ have a hard enough time getting everything to “work” together without having yet another pattern thrown into the mix. I figured it wouldn’t throw me off too much in a limited space like the master. It did prevent me from considering certain bedding patterns but I️ love it.
