Cocktail table choice

Hey guys you always give me great advice so here I am again... this time I'm replacing the cocktail table in my living room the one I have now is too small, here's two that I really like I just wanted your opinion and I'm going to post a few pictures so you have an idea.. Thanks Tony

I agree with acm, I think I like the first option. I believe it's because it has more structure to it. HOWEVER I the large gold bar is awesome too!

Wondering if you placed the two chairs facing each other across the table and then added a settee opposite the couch - then you could keep your table and will be getting extra seating and also warming up the space. Sort of the idea below, but just slight adjustment to set up.
