What an exciting project! Wall sconces are always a great idea to a bedroom - will the bed always be positioned on the same wall? If so I think they will make a big impact. Considering the decorative bed, perhaps antique or vintage sconces would be complementary. Good luck!

Updated images...... thanks for all the input! So appreciated! Took the advice & bought larger nightstands. Bought light pendants that we purchased some plant hangers for & are turning into wall sconces (didn’t find any that were exactly what I wanted). Need ideas for art above the sconces. Want to stay away from art above the bed frame itself, as we have a mirror hanging on the wall across from there & like the look of the chandelier in the mirror while we are laying in bed. Also more advice on area rug (enclosing some pics of ones I like) & whether or not to do a storage chest at the foot of the bed...... TIA for any help :)

Also thinking most of the rug will be under the bed, so rug with design mainly in the middle not so important......

The bed looking really pretty. You can and should remove the plastic protective cover from your drip up shade on your chandelier. For your rug, I would stick with grays and touches of your blue/grays. I wouldn’t go orange or golds. Coming along nicely.

Mirrored elephant at first I didn't get, but it's cute.... your touch in the room?! I was looking at rugs, and a roman shade appeared - called platinum grey - nice for your, or not? looks pale lilac.

Softened pattern, but more blue than you probably want.

My husband is going to hide the cords of the bedside sconces. Need suggestions on what to do with the corner of the room on right side of the bed by the window (if anything?) & also the corner of the room between the window & dresser.... floating shelves/ chair? Thought of a bench at the end of the bed , but don’t know told there is enough space between the bed & the dresser. Anything I should do for color?

I would do a small chair to L of the dresser, some décor on dresser, A bench may look better under the elephant art, but may not be enough room. That piece under there doesn't seem to go to me. Maybe a plant or tall piece of décor on it might help? Your rug looks great!

Try a smaller rug on each side of the bed.

Sorry too but I don't get the dark brown furry with the rest... overpowers the bed.

You mention color - but yours seems grey and soft whites, and enough that it's interesting [or not in person]? why color, but if you want, tell what color you're considering? :)
