My wife and I are getting ready to build our new house. We are building a 20 x 40 gunite pool. We are contemplating adding a geothermal heating / cooling system for the house. It is a fairly expensive add-on, but the math seems to work a little better if we can use the geothermal system to heat our pool.

Does anyone have any first-hand experience with heating a pool with geothermal? What was your experience? Was it able to keep the pool temperature at a reasonable temperature? What was your average cost per month to heat the pool (ballpark is fine)?
