Americana (ish) Guest Bedroom
I need advice for decorating this guest bedroom with the furniture and bedding I already have. The picture shows the bedding that was used during the summer, but now that we are in the (slightly) cooler months, I would like to put a coordinating comforter on the bed, and maybe a dust ruffle? I've thought about a navy/indigo denim comforter or a white one with a navy ticking design. Would like to keep the print that is pictured, and perhaps hang on the wall. Any other ideas for wall decor? Also need a nightstand recommendation

8 years agolast modified: 8 years agoNothing says Americana like a quilt! Since you already have your bedding, a quilt can be a decorative piece. It could hang on your wall, or be tossed over the back of a rocker. I see those wall quilt racks in thrift shops and at garage sales all the time. Here, I'll post a few images for inspiration. And Neutral beige, warm browns and harvest gold are the calling cards of primitive Americana home decor, with red, white and blue used as accent colors.Have fun shopping!

One last suggestion... a braided rug. Again, doesn't have to be red white or blue. Have fun!
