A low long 3 sided “box”box built to match the mantel right under the T.V.

My DH built this box on my fireplace to conceal the cords. It is removable and I just decorate around it.

I like the low box idea.

You could get a sound bar for the TV an put it in the gap between the bottom of the TV.

Also put some fasteners in the brick and just hang the wires behind the TV (you'd still see them from the sides).

Take down the ridiculous shiplap. Have an electrician run surface mount outlets. Clad with something else.
