I need some advice on Chandelier placement for a large dining room. We are building a family gathering place. I am trying to decide if I want to put chandeliers down the center of the room or if I want them over each table. I am leaning towards three matching chandeliers down the center so that I can have hooks available over the centers of the tables to hang seasonal floral decorations.

Here are some specifics about the dining room... I would appreciate any insight.

Dining room is 30 feet wide by 54 feet long.

The 54 foot long wall has three double windows. The opposite wall is mainly wall with a big opening into the family living room and kitchen area.

There will be six 4 by 8 oak dining tables, with 8 chairs. There will be two rows of three tables.

The ceilings are 11 1/2 feet maybe a couple more inches but not 12 feet.

French Country Style Chandelier preference.
