Do you actually need a table there? With the console and dining tables so close, it may be table overload. I might consider an upholstered bench with art or a mirror above it, or just a beautiful rug and some good sized art or a gallery on the wall.

If you do need a table, what about one painted the color of your trim? Or another color you want to feature in your home?
