Update! Our kitchen renovation has finally begun!

Demo has finished and the new cabinets are here!

I love them!! Kraftmaid Lansing in Dove White! They are beautiful! I’m so glad I chose this cabinet style!

Like the cabinet style, simple but easy to maintain. Hardwoods look great. Can not wait to see the finished project. Good luck.

Update!

The cabinets are finally all installed. We had a mishap when our contractor drilled 9 holes into our sewer line. After new plumbing and drywall, the cabinets are back in place and we are finally ready for countertops and the backsplash.

We have ordered new appliances and they should be here next week! We made the big switch to stainless, which is a big deal, since I love white appliances. BUT in the end, stainless won out, because it really is going to make the kitchen look completely renovated.

My big farm sink is by far my favorite thing about my new kitchen, I just really wish I could use it! The pantry with the pull out shelves is pretty amazing too.❤️

Total cost for renovation:
Approximately $40,000. Includes all items listed , the new/refinished wood floors on main level of house, and all electrical and plumbing is also included in that price.

People have been wondering where I put my microwave. I put it in my pantry. This did cost a bit more, having to add a new outlet, but this was the perfect solution for me.

Microwaves are ugly, so until they make them cuter, in the pantry it goes

Taking forever and 'driving your family nuts' was WELL worth it. That's a kitchen that will take you into forever....

You did a very nice job of this, maybe I am out of touch but 40,000 seems high?
I am not a professional but I am looking at the paint colour, I find it doesn’t bring out the beauty of your cabinets and tile enough. It seems a lot of people are anti grey but I think it would look very nice in your kitchen.

The hardwood stain color is Early American.

Yes, $40,000 is a lot, but it is VERY competitive for the Denver area. That cost included the main floor hardwoods and a brand new powder bath as well.
Upgrades cost a lot, but totally make the space. The details are everything!

We actually redid our whole main floor at the end of last year as well. Here are some pics!

We haven’t painted the walls or the back door yet. We just left the old color up to live in it for awhile, and get a feel for things.
I appreciate your color comments.
I am thinking painting the back door a mid to dark grey or a blue maybe and the walls a bit lighter then they currently are. Maybe a light beige with hints of grey?? I don’t want the color to be too cool, that white kitchen needs some warmth, and I am going to paint my entire main floor the same color, so it needs to work in each room.
