Is that the full size of the rug or is it a sample?

Just a small one for by the door.. I was planning on buying a large one to put underneath my dining room table.

That looks like a costal modern rug sitting on a mountain house floor. When picking rugs, it is more than the colors that make it not work.

I agree. Probably not the best fit, given its size. Perhaps you can find a place for it in another room?

The funny thing is this flooring is supposed to give out the coastal/beach look, but looks different than what I was expecting. I started with the small rug to see if it would work and am glad I didn’t order the larger one right away. I can still return this one fortunately.

Not great. I object to the lines in each and feel the pattern of your rug should be more contrasting to the pattern of the floor. I do not think the colors of the rug are doing your floor any favor and vice versa. Colors are not bad but just not great but that could be the pattern still

By itself, no. But it could depending on walls, furniture, etc.
