These tiny mosaic splash tiles will be busy looking when installed and grouted. I think it would be okay for a small bath splash and accent, but too much in the kitchen.

I like the color schemes you picked, but i agree with the comment above regarding the kitchen backsplash. I installed the exact backsplash in my kitchen (different colors) and hated it from day one. It's very busy and takes over, it's immediately where the eye goes which was disappointing because i love my granite. I'm finally ripping it out after a year and going with a white backsplash.

Agree with above about the mosaic backsplash in the kitchen - too busy for my eyes. Consider replacing the gray island and flooring with warm wood island and flooring. You will have a much warmer kitchen with more timeless elements. The gray flooring look is very trendy - so eventually will be "dated". All these gray kitchens and bathrooms are going to be the harvest gold of the 70's. You need to love the look even when it is not trendy to go with it.

There is another post up right now from someone who used a lot of neutral and gray elements and is not loving her kitchen. You do not want a kitchen that looks like a black and white photo. It might look artistically pretty, but hard to live in.
