Space to run down rod for light sconce

Can I set up the nightstands so there is small gap between it and the headboard to run the cord down rod for the sconces that I want to attach on each side of the headboard

    Yes, There should still be room for a cord in between the bed and the nightstand there is not much space but you can leave a little extra when assembling and tightening on that side or both sides
