go to the kitchens forum and do a search. there a ton of threads on the subject.

Highly recommend the suggestion of the Kitchen forum.

The Kitchen forum is where we started seriously considering Ikea. This thread pretty much sealed the deal for us, aside from all the practical posts about how well it holds up, the Blum hardware, the $$ savings, and the storage/organizational aspect,

Yes, tons of info out there.

I've done 1 ikea kitchen. Doing another one early next year. It saves a ton of money if you dyi. If you don't dyi you lose that advantage.

Are you handy? Do you have tools and know how to use them? Can you problem solved on the fly? Then you can probably do it.

Not to add to the oceans of info on this topic out there but a kitchen like Becky linked is a real challenge. Keep it simple if you have some doubts about your abilities.

Good luck!

Thanks one and all for your ideas!! Very helpful!

Look up The RTA store website and Online cabinets direct. Both are cabinet RTA stores and sell assembled or unassembled at very reasonable prices. I have ordered cabinets from both with great success.
