Thank you for the suggestion but I don't think I want a creamy look for vanity and the color you suggested seem more cream to me .

are you looking to buy a white vanity or paint one that you have white? If painting, White Dove will work,,,tends to have a slightly gray undertone.

where is that glass tile going to be? And is the Athens Gray marble also going in the bathroom? if you plan on using those 3, it's way too busy and way too many linear movements.

Hello .. Thank you .. I'm having the vanity built ( shaker style ) and painted .
I think paint with a Gray undertone would be better than yellow . I have been agonizing over this white or a more true white to go along with the tub and toilet . It all started with the floor we liked . The tiles We planned to use it as an accent "strip " probably half of that size you see around tub /shower . The area is inset 5 ft tub by 33" I don't have a picture right now bathroom 6x10.

but what tile will you be using w/the accent tile in the shower? that athens gray?

I would suggest you also use that as your floor tile. use this as an accent w/the Athen Gray (or White Oak) instead of that other. this compliments the other tile

You could also use these tiles for the floor, rather than your wood look tiles (which are on the way out).

you could also do the athens gray like this....continue into your shower, and use one of the others above for an accent (but not a strip around the middle!)

I can see it may be too busy the one is floor tile the other 2 were for the tub area only . I'll have to consider some other options for tub area

minsley, if it's that small, try using the basketweave or the hex pattern,,,I posted above. use the larger tiles in your shower (is there a tub combo or just a shower?)

If you have a small floor, use one of the mosaics. but do the tub surround like shown in these pics. if you have a niche, you can use the accent tiles for that

this athens gray (White oak) is a very cool tone, gray tile. I think the white dove will work fine with it.

stick w/the other athens gray accent tiles and the mosaics above. Builder Depot sells quite a selection for a good price. seal the tile face (face only) before you grout. seal again after grouting has dried.

I would do this one for the tub

and this one for the floor, because it has the bits of white to go w/your vanity.

you could also use the larger planks on the floor and do this mosaic in the middle like a 'rug'.

or just edge the floor perimeter w/the larger tiles, and then do the mosaic inside the borders. Just depends on how big your floor is. if its really small, then just use the mosaic.

It's small long narrow so I'll stick with one pattern , now you have me rethinking all my choices . The wood looking tile called Carolina white does have gray tones I like but I'll look at other tiles ..it was going on the floor so i have about a week til we start so I need to get back to the tile store .

Yes thank you ! I was worried the accent tile was not best choice . Parting with the floor my be little harder for me , but hearing that look is on the way out helps me . Thank you for all your time and pics !

minsley,,,if you would rather have the wood look tile, make sure it's a good looking quality that can do thin grout lines. and then do a larger, plain subway tile in the tub. With a busy floor, you need to tone down the wall look. With a small bathroom, sometimes doing simple is better. there are plenty of options available, so perhaps look at some small bathroom ideas here on Houzz.

there are so many wonderful bathroom tiles available. doing a wood look tile in the bathroom is a waste! pick something nice, with a bit of color. perhaps doing a cement tile on the floors in a black and white and then a glass tile for the tub? Or even this gray and white

or some black shiplap for some drama
