Are you quilting this weekend? Dec. 2-3

Hello Quilters! We are having another sunny but chilly day here in Columbus. We are going to Sami's birthday party this afternoon. She will be having two parties, today is for friends and the next one is for family on her actual birthday. The theme this year is My Little Pony. I remember when her mom loved them.

I have been doing my Christmas shopping this week. Most of it will be done online. We did go to Lowes to buy the two oldest boys each a tool bag and some real tools. My dad did that for my son the year before he died, and Jeff still has all of them. He really treasures them because Grandpa picked them out for him.

On the quilting front, I am working on clue two of the BH mystery quilt. I am also still working on the quilts for the boys. I plan to get them done and quilted this week. (I'll see how that works!)

I made some bowl cozies as gifts for Christmas 2010 and they are still in use. (all cotton)

Sunny and 4 degrees. I just spent an hour and a half trying to get the last of the leaves collected. My DH's toy is the power washer, mine is the leaf blower. The leaves are all nicely lined up so he can bag them for pick up on Tuesday.

i might try to sort out the string bin tomorrow, right now I am on the heating pad. Love the trees, hate the leaves!

I've sewn all the blocks for the 4 quilts and am now adding sashing.

I’m crocheting bookmarks this weekend. I have Handbell performances today and tomorrow so I need to work on something easy to stop and start.

I am still working on that quilted wine tote that I started a week ago and I made three sets of microwave bowl cozies and I have to piece together the back for a quilt. These were my first bowl cozies and they'll probably be my last just because I didn't find them fun to do but they are cute and they will be used a lot.

I started piecing a baby charity quilt - got my machine back from being cleaned and serviced and boy, does it sew! No more clunk, clunk, clunk! Have been looking at too many posts on Pinterest and have too many ideas for Christmas quilts. They won't be sewn this year, but who knows ...
