I'm coming up empty on furniture placement for this oddly shaped space. We are moving from another country so we will be starting with a clean slate in this apartment and purchasing all of the furnishings.

In the living space the most important thing is comfortable seating for two. My husband likes to recline whereas I need a straight back chair. Both of us prefer to have our feet elevated with easy access to a table and a good sight line to a large screen TV which will not be wall mounted.

We also want to incorporate comfortable seating for two guests. A second storage/display piece (other than the TV console) would be a nice addition. The height restriction on the one wall is due to a "window" opening from the kitchen.

In the dining area we'll definitely need to purchase a buffet/server to extend kitchen storage. There will usually just be the two of us dining but we want to be able to serve four comfortably when we have company.
