Sure why not there's no rule of how much of one color you should have it's a personal preference

If you pick a neutral for all of the walls, you can use different accent colors in different rooms, and fabrics that play from one room to another without a patchwork of colored walls.

Thank you! That's exactly what I was thinking. Right now, I'm looking at certain color accents for the living room, but I don't want to be bound to that because of some ransoms turquoise wall or something. And from what I've read and seen, that taupe/grey color, particularly the revere pewter, has a way of blending an complimenting whatever is in the room.
