Hi there! Your room looks beautiful! I would suggest one of two ways to go here: 1. choose a grey/beige tone that will blend in with the stone like SW0038 LIbrary Pewter for the Entertainment ctr wall and wrap the room in a much lighter shade like SW0053 Porcelain. 2: choose a complimentary colour to make the stone stand out like a deep plum tone (SW 6018 Enigma) for the accent wall and use the Porcelain for the other walls or a lighter shade of the Enigma like SW6015 Vaguely Mauve. Good luck! I am sure it will turn out perfect :)

Are you saying you are not sold on the Halycon Green and Rocky River....? that you are wanting something else?

Schroeder- Yes we are going to be picking something else as we feel the current colors we picked doesn't match the room. Do you have any recommendations?

I don't know how dark you like for the entertainment wall, but something fairly dark would look fabulous with your stone work. Take a look at Benjamin Moore Bear Creek. And for other walls look as Benjamin Moore Sea Haze.

Your masonry, tile, and granite selections are gorgeous cool tones. This particular blue paint is way too warm and deep to go well with it. If you had even gone with a lighter shade of the color you might have liked it better. I'd like to see more green or grey or even some purplish tones.

Galveston Gray would be beautiful! It is a Benjamin Moore paint. If you prefer a much lighter look another Benjamin Moore paint is Subtle. Your stone is gorgeous either of these colors will make it pop! Good Luck

Many times, when a color/s goes up, all the attention is paid to the color on the wall at first, that's all you can see.

There is a very strong blue in the green in both colors you already have......maybe you would be happier if the paint were toned down...not another color,,,,in fact less "color'......this way the tiles and stones would stand out more and be more of the centerpiece/s considering the cost of those selections, kind of nice to enhance them not compete with a strong wall color....also, what are the fabrics on the furniture, any window treatments, area rug? Those are important too and if you are choosing wall color first, you will just have to work around the the walls when you select fabrics/leathers etc.....shouldn't be too difficult. Take a look at the more neutral pallet of SW7014, 15, 16, 17 and 18 and the SW7042,43,44,45 and 46....I would have to be standing in the room looking at the real thing to really get every nuance with the lighting, both day and night....but these colors are more cameleon like.....always better in the long run to use colors that you can't designate as any one color......when everything is in the room finished and the daylight and evening light is "on", the colors take on the other finishes......I like the lighter walls on the general walls, and a deeper one at the wall with the stone.
Or, if these wall colors are too neutral, try the SW6203, 04, 05, 06 and 07 or SW7056,57,58,59,60. They all have a bit of a greenish tone but are still greyed.
I suppose those color strips are all more dull than the 2 on the wall already, but I think you could find a nice combination of 2 colors that would let the stones and tiles stand out more.

A little color goes along way and i would not lock the walls into any one specific color family with all the tile, stone and granite....I would put color into an area rug, fabrics, prints on the walls etc....

It's a basement. You will be happy when your color selection throws back a bit of light into your room.
