To help the table be the star, consider simple linen slipcovers (washable) over parsons chairs or the kind of straight chair we see here (very nice but not the look you want). You could add a touch of industrial rustic by using zinc finished metal chairs, but here, plain slipcovers are going to unify what you have and give you the new look. You can buy them at ikea (henriksdaal is the name for their version i think) and play with dye and color if you are so inclined.

Your table is lovely! I suggest you paint the existing chairs or buy painted chairs. Black would look great. I have the same floors/furniture as you and I paired the black chairs with my wood table.

Get the casters off this table! We did something similar, and bought chairs from a local craftsman in a modern traditional style:

Advise you to keep the casters on that fabulous Victorian table…part of the value and the look.

You could keep the two chairs and add the slipcovered chairs which libra suggested (not the pressed back) and recover the seats in the white slipcover fabric.

Or you could do the Victorian style chair but in an updated modern version.

Mix four of these with the white slipcovered chairs:

Wicker…is a great match both historically and the casual f, ecletic feel you want.. How about these with the white slipcovered at the ends?

Keep the casters. Apart from any historical/value considerations I know from experience that removing the casters lowers the table to squash the thighs of hefty footballers and nobody wants to have to turn them away from their table.
For chairs think about general style of the room and follow that. The only stylistic faux pas I think would be a near missmatch, which I think is what the current set up tends towards, or a cheap and tacky, cheap and charming though would work (Chinese made faux French wrought iron anyone?)
