Hi, so recently we removed banana trees from our backyard, and reused some of the soil from that same garden bed in our front yard in front of a new retaining wall. Well apparently that was a rookie mistake as now we have banana spouts popping up all over the front yard!

Digging them out has found an extensive root system under our front yard, have pulled out approx 10 large bulbs so far, and some have been as big as a wheelburrow... :( turf is supposed to be laid next week, what on earth do we do? Turf over and kill each sprout as it comes up? Excavate the entire front yard and start again (thousands of $$$) ? Is there something we can use to kill it... but won't kill the new turf ? Help! Does anyone has experience or knowledge about this?
