if your dog will only be on grass or snow, "pawz" work well. i have used them for my great danes. they won't hold up if the dog walks on pavement but might work for your purposes plus they are pretty inexpensive.

haha! i will tell you, they can be a little difficult to get on. it might take 2 people, one to hold your dog and give treats and the other to put them on. they remind me of very thick balloons. have fun with them and be sure to video your dog the first time he tries to walk with them on. i can almost guarantee you, your sides will hurt from laughing at your high steppin' dog!

Watching dogs try to walk the first time you put boots on them is usually hysterical. My dogs don't really like the boots, but I have tried.

one of my dane girls doesn't like to walk through the farm field next to us to get down to the road because of all the prickly pear cactus. i put boots on her and she will go willingly. doesn't seem to bother the other two at all.

My dog will flop over onto her side and 'play dead' whenever I put her 'boots' on her, she's yet to actually do any walking with them on - so far it's only been inside the house while I've tried to get her adjusted to wearing them and not outside (we're still waiting for our first snow of the year anyway). I'm beginning to think that it would be a better idea to get her 'mushers wax' and just apply that to protect her paws for outside when snow arrives.

My dog walks like a crazy baby when I put her boots on her. They make her super uncomfortable and she kicks her legs all over the place...lol.
