The kitchen in this house is in a walk in level basement with 7 ft ceilings, and small windows near the ceiling. I am trying to make it feel more "light, airy, and spacious".

I am wondering what the pros-cons are for 3,000k vs 4,000k LED retrofit lights.

I tried 2 of the 3,000k and it appeared very "yellow". Should I go with 4,000k even though that's generally used for commercial?

Looking for suggestions on how to use lighting to make this room brighter and feel more "airy". Its narrow and long kitchen with total of 8 of the spotlights shown in the photo (2 parallel rows of 4).
