how do you use this light on a pilaster ?

I bought 16 of lights but I want to put them on pilasters instead of long posts, do I need to buy the lamp bases for them and if so what sizes do I need? Could I just put the lamps directly on the pilaster's cap, but how do I prevent it from falling?

hi..you will need a pier mount..they are standard....you can purchase at your local home center/electrical supply store...you should be able to find a color thats close enough as you do not see much of the metal...thank you
